Privacy Policy
Plain-language detail on what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Olive & Oak Wellness (“Olive & Oak,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information collected through oliveandoakwellness.org (the “Site”) and when you contact us. It does not replace any separate client agreement or intake consent you sign when you begin services.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Message form and email. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send, such as your name, email, phone number, state of residence, and what you are hoping to work on. The Site’s message form opens your own email app, so the message is sent from your email account to ours.
- Scheduling. When you book a discovery call, Calendly collects your name, email, and any answers you provide, and shares them with us so we can hold the call.
- Phone calls. If you call us, we may keep your number and notes from the conversation.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider and the services embedded on the Site may automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We do not run advertising trackers on the Site, and we do not set our own marketing cookies.
Please keep health details out of the form
Regular email and website forms are not designed for sensitive health information. Please do not send diagnoses, lab results, medications, or other detailed medical history through the Site or by regular email. Once you become a client, we will collect health information through a secure intake process and explain how it is stored and protected at that time.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions and schedule your discovery call
- To explain our services, lab panels, and pricing
- To follow up with you if you ask us to
- To keep the Site secure and working properly
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations
We will only send you newsletters or marketing emails if you ask to receive them, and every such email will include a way to unsubscribe.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the practice, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Calendly, for appointment scheduling (Calendly privacy notice)
- Vercel, which hosts the Site (Vercel privacy policy)
- Google Fonts, which delivers the Site’s typefaces (Google privacy policy)
- Our email provider, which delivers messages you send us
- Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp, only if you become a client and order lab testing
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry messages and scheduling details for as long as needed to respond to you and keep reasonable business records. Client records are kept as described in your client agreement and as required by law. You can ask us to delete inquiry information at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what personal information we have about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of any follow-up or marketing emails
To make a request, email info@oliveandoakwellness.org. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to people who need it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive health details through the Site.
Children
The Site and our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
